Ief De Laender is a Belgium-based photographer with a focus on landscapes, city views and street scenes. Since 2009, photography has been both a passion and a way to slow down and disconnect from everyday life.

Although I never received a formal education in photography, I continuously try to expand my knowledge and experience through practice and exploration.

I’m drawn to landscapes in all forms — from coastlines to urban environments — as well as architecture and everyday scenes found in cities and streets.

My goal is to create images that stay close to reality, aiming to get as much right as possible in the field and keeping post-processing to a minimum. I edit my work in Adobe Lightroom Classic and mainly work with Fujifilm cameras and a DJI Air 3S drone.

I would describe my work as a filmic eye, a soft touch, and Fujifilm colours throughout. Classic Chrome remains one of my favourite film simulations to work with.

I’m active on Instagram and Facebook. If you have a question, or simply want to say hello, feel free to send me an email.

Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow.
